About Horse Dragon:

Hi, I am Horse Dragon, an indie author with a passion for all things Sci-Fi and Fantasy. My writing journey began over a decade ago in a café in China when I finally made enough money to afford some free time. I sat in the café and wrote for hours, and what I realized was…I wasn’t very good. I was burning to tell this story, so I thought, why not write the prequel to it instead? Several years and four drafts later, I am finally ready to release my first novel.

When I am not writing…

You’ll find me directing students and trying my hardest not to strangle them, practicing martial arts, or free diving when I can get out to some beautiful water. I also enjoy making silly YouTube videos, acting on an improv stage, listening to tons of audiobooks, gaming, and working on my latest adventure: fatherhood.

There are too many influences to count, but the major ones include Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Star Wars, Warhammer, Journey to the West, and Dungeons and Dragons. Are you seeing a trend? I love stories about battles—tales brimming with monsters, master warriors, and intergalactic spaceships.

So why me?

Good question, me. The answer is that I spent ten years learning and honing my writing skills. I refused to release my first novel until I felt it was truly worthy of sharing with the world. I am committed to producing the best work I can because many great writers have given me countless hours of joy, and I want to share that joy with you.
